Robert Scherer is the President and Founder of TAG, with more than 20 years of business and financial experience planning and managing complex programs for clients in a variety of different industries. He has worked with companies with annual revenues ranging from start-up to over $100 million.
Prior to founding TAG, Scherer was the CFO for one of the largest reinforcing steel contractors in California. He is also former President and board member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). His expertise in the building and development industry has resulting in over 75 national and local speaking engagements.
Scherer graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in International Business. He holds an MBA from San Diego State University. He resides with his wife and three children in Mission Hills.
Anneke Stender has over 15 years of experience in the financial and accounting industry. She oversees TAG’s Corporate Accounting and Family CFO divisions, including managing a team of client relationship managers, new business development and implementing a strategic plan for the division’s growth into new industries and geographic areas.
Stender joined TAG in 2003 as the company’s corporate Controller and was quickly promoted to become a key member of the executive management team. She oversaw the operations and the internal accounting department and directed all financial activities for the corporation.
Stender graduated Summa Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. She is actively involved in networking organizations such as Estate Planning Council of San Diego, ProVisors, La Jolla Probate, North County Estate Planning Council and STEP. She is a board member for the Scripps Health Foundation Gift Planning Advisory Board. She resides in San Diego with her husband and three children.
Jennifer Silva-Reis is an Accounts Payable Supervisor for the Bill Pay division of TAG. The outsourced bill pay service is highly customizable and is designed to accurately track expenses and provide cash flow reporting. Silva-Reis works with a team of accountants and Accounts Payable experts to provide bill payment, managing wire transfers, account reconciliations, and tracking expenses.
Prior to joining TAG, Silva-Reis was a Staff Accountant at the San Diego Center for Children. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism at Arizona State University.
Jocelyn Pereira is an Accounts Payable Lead for TAG Bill Pay. She works with a team of AP Associates to provide bill pay services and cash flow reporting to family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
Jocelyn and her team of accounting experts set up bill payments, manage wire transfers, monitor spending patterns, reconcile accounts and produce cash flow reports. Robust security measures are put into place for every client and all sensitive information is encrypted and uploaded to a private cloud portal.
Jana Oles is an Accounts Payable Lead for TAG’s Bill Pay division. She works with a team of AP Associates to handle bill pay services for family offices and individuals with a complex financial life. TAG Bill Pay is highly customizable with services ranging from bill payment, recordkeeping, cash flow reporting, mail and vendor management, wire transactions and expense tracking.
Jana earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
Amy Agrella is an Accounts Payable Lead for TAG Bill Pay. She works with a team of AP Associates to provide bill pay services and cash flow reporting to family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
Amy and her team of accounting experts set up bill payments, manage wire transfers, monitor spending patterns, reconcile accounts and produce cash flow reports. Robust security measures are put into place for every client and all sensitive information is encrypted and uploaded to a private cloud portal.
As a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting, accounts payable and record keeping, Amy has excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients. Previously she held positions as a processor and administrator at a mortgage company and financial institution.
Sara Gilman leads the marketing efforts at TAG and assists with new business development. With over 10 years of experience, she brings a unique combination of marketing and sales background with a focus in the financial and construction sector.
Gilman is responsible for a diverse array of marketing activities, including lead generation for the sales team, creating marketing collateral and content for print, web and email campaigns, while constantly optimizing them for performance. She also helps guide the initiative to develop new niches for TAG services.
In 2013, she established the Nonprofit Leadership Forum to enhance the success of nonprofit organizations by offering free quarterly educational presentations.
Gilman was awarded a full track and field scholarship from Northeastern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations.
James Server works as TAG’s internal Director of Information Technology as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He also provides outsourced IT services for a number of TAG clients, helping with the design and setup of computers and other related hardware, networks, Microsoft Exchange Servers, and SQL databases.
Server is a Sage Certified Consultant for MAS 90/200 and Application Consultant. He works with a variety of businesses providing implementation, troubleshooting and designing MAS software solutions.
He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Alexis Powell is the Corporate Recruiter for TAG and is responsible for talent acquisition and job placement. She manages the hiring process from start to finish, while also highlighting the TAG brand and company culture.
